A limited edition is only worth the name if the limit is real: a fixed number, written down before the first copy leaves, and kept.
The number. Every work in the catalogue is an edition of 250. Never extended. Each order takes the next number in that work's edition, from 1 to 250, and the number is recorded against the order.
The card. Where the production facility can print it, a card with your edition number is packed with the work; your number is recorded against your order in any case, and you can ask us for it at any time.
Damage. If anything arrives damaged, send a photo within 7 days of delivery and it is reprinted at no cost. Nothing needs to be sent back. A damaged copy is replaced under the same number, so the edition does not grow.
Returns. The number of a cancelled or returned work is released and may go to a later buyer, so the total never exceeds 250.
The end. When the last number is taken, the work shows one line: Edition closed. Not extended.
Collecting does not need an auction house. It needs a work you would choose again, a number that means something, and a wall.
